Dragon update.. need input!
I've just updated my pattern info on my blog. I am butchering 2 patterns to get the result I want, but that leave a couple of design decisions for me.
1) should my dragon's spots be intarsia or applique
2)button or zipper? one pattern is buttoned, 1 is zipped. the zipped one also has a drawstring, but THAT isnt' going on my kid.. or any kid I like enough to knit/crochet for (which is pretty much any kid...)
so PLEASE leave me a comment here or there and let me know what you think... or if anyone has a better idea....

I'll second using buttons and doing the spots via applique!
And I must say that the dragon sweater is an adorable idea!! Can not wait to see the final product.......have the Olympics started YET????
The dragon is just very, very cute! Buttons seem more handmade to me and therefore more special. Somehow a zipper on a handmade garment feels funny to me.
